It was a memorable year for the National Baseball Congress (NBC) World Series. NBC is a client of High Touch Technologies as well as a current tenant in our Wichita building on the sixth floor.
The excitement started with the announcement of former MLB all-stars filling a roster of a team to compete. The following local and national media captured stories:
- “Roger Clemens and a team of former All-Stars will compete in the NBC World Series” by MLB.com
- “Roger Clemens and a bunch of ex-MLB players sign up for amateur tournament” by CBSSports.com
- “Roger Clemens leads team of former MLB stars in baseball tournament by The Washington Post
The final weekend was Baseball ‘Round the Clock where the remaining teams battled it out no matter what the time. The result was 17 games in 56 hours. ESPN wrote the article, “NBC World Series in Wichita: 17 games in 56 hours!“
