High Touch Technologies employees Daphne Sierra and Sundee Dunn were recently named co-directors of the Wichita American Marketing Association (WAMA) 2014 Marketer of the Year (MOY) Award. The MOY Award was established to recognize outstanding marketing professionals and student interns in Wichita and surrounding areas.
Daphne Sierra will coordinate all efforts related to the Marketer of the Year Award,
determine the nomination process, selection of the candidates, and collaborate on logistics and entertainment for the awards ceremony. Daphne, a Wichita State University alum, has been with High Touch Technologies since 2012. In addition to her WAMA Board activities, Daphne is an active participant in Young Professionals of Wichita (YPW) on the Pulse Committee, is on the planning committee for Lights on the Lake by Heartspring, and volunteers for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
Sundee Dunn, a High Touch Technologies employee since 2012 and a Wichita State University alum, will select the MAX Award categories and determine the nomination process, select the award statuses, manage the graphic designer and photographer for the event, and plan the catering menu. Along with her WAMA duties, Sundee serves on the YPW Ambassadors Team, the YPW Sub-committee hYPe Team and will serve as the Envoy Chair on the 2014 YPW Board. Sundee is also on the 2014 Development Team with the Red Shoe Society (Ronald McDonald House Charities), which plans four socials a year and arranges participation in the chili cook-off. Additionally, she is on the Marketing/PR/Communications Team for the Wichita Art Museum Contemporaries Color Party event in Feb. 2014.
