February 11, 2013
Wichita, Kan. – High Touch Technologies announced today the first recipient in its Laptops for Learning program. Taylor Kemp, daughter of Rent One employee Karen Kemp, will be awarded the Microsoft Surface Tablet at a special ceremony later this month.
“I was very pleasantly surprised,” said Karen Kemp, mother of Taylor and employee of Rent One Store #60 in Henderson, Kentucky. “It is so important to have this kind of tool to help with school and I know Taylor does a lot of her work online,” she said. “I think it is nice of High Touch to offer this kind of program to help our kids,” Kemp added.

Larry Carrico, Owner and Operator of the Rent One Franchise, said “When I learned of Laptops for Learning I thought what a terrific program and natural fit for High Touch. Karen is a great manager and this will be a nice benefit for her daughter, Taylor,” he added.
