As Senior Vice President of Software Solutions, Jason Leads the Strategic Vision and Development of Our Point-of-Sale Software, Including cynergi|suite and Nigel, Custom Software, and Website Services.

A High Touch employee-owner for nearly 20 years, Jason is responsible for numerous innovative projects, including co-authoring the original business plan for High Touch’s IT Solutions division, developing and implementing a managed print services offering that helped save a client over $1 million annually, and leading the modernization of High Touch’s rent-to-own POS platform, cynergi|suite.

Education, Career, and Experience

Since 2003, Jason has held several roles at High Touch, from Purchasing and Vendor Relations to Sales Engineer, Enterprise Account Manager, Director of Research and Development, Director of Business Development, Director of Strategic Research, Vice President of Managed Services, Vice President of Operations, and currently, Senior Vice President of Software Solutions.

Jason’s Software Solutions and Website Services teams are responsible for delivering solutions and support for a diverse customer base of over 6,000 locations worldwide.

In addition to the accomplishments listed above, Jason has been an innovative leader for High Touch’s rent-to-own point-of-sale platform. Jason has helped lead, develop, and integrate automated dialing and SMS text messaging into High Touch’s POS system for collections and marketing, self-service kiosks, fleet management system, managed print services, and paperless forms software for iOS devices. In his current role, Jason has also led the development efforts of Nigel, a cloud-based restaurant management POS system build in a joint venture with Thrive Restaurant Group.

Jason holds an associate degree in accounting from Hutchinson Community College and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Emporia State University.

Board and Community Involvement

Currently, Jason is a volunteer coach for the Chisholm Trail Tigers 18U baseball team.

In the past, Jason served on the Tech Data Advisory Council from 2014-2021. Jason has also lent his time to the Wichita Public Schools Career and Technical Education IT Advisory Board, served as an IT Essentials Industry Advocate for Wichita Area Technical College (now WSU Tech), and volunteered with the Special Olympics of Kansas.

Jason is a graduating member of the 2014 Leadership Wichita class.
