Vice President of Restaurant Technology

In bringing the human touch to technology, Tara believes that restaurant hardware and software should elevate the art and experience of hospitality, not replace it.

As Vice President of Technology Solutions, she leads the team behind Nigel—our modern, experience-focused point-of-sale platform built exclusively for the restaurant industry in partnership with Thrive Restaurant Group.

About Tara

Tara Clary

A seasoned marketing, business, and technology leader, Tara guides the full lifecycle of Nigel, from product development and partnerships to sales, support, and go-to-market execution. Her vision centers on connection and purpose—creating an intuitive experience that supports restaurant teams, enhances guest experiences, and helps operators thrive in a competitive industry.

Tara’s High Touch career began in marketing and communications, where she led the company’s award-winning rebrand and helped unify multiple business lines under one cohesive voice. Her foundation in brand and communications continues to shape how Nigel goes to market today, with clarity, authenticity, and a practical focus on what matters most to restaurant operators and their teams.

Guided by a mentor-driven approach and creative mindset, Tara works hand-in-hand with our restaurant partners to ensure Nigel is developed not just for the restaurant industry but alongside it. That on-the-ground insight fuels everything from product strategy to frontline support, ensuring Nigel stays in step with the industry’s needs.

As a lifelong Wichitan, Tara has deep roots in the community. She was an inaugural member of YPW (now W), serving as committee Vice Chair, Secretary, Chair, and on the board. During this time, Tara also led the team that established the YPW awards and Founder’s Day Gala.

With a background in musical theatre, Tara brings both creative energy and stage presence to everything she does. She’s a former board member of Laughing Feet Performers—one of the few fine arts organizations nationwide focused on providing music and theatre opportunities for performers with special needs—and recently served on the Mayor’s committee to explore the future of Wichita’s fine arts facility.

She continues to perform in her free time, still taking the stage locally at both Mosley Street Melodrama and Roxy’s Downtown.
