Helping Support Envision Wichita

Andover, Kan — (May 5, 2022) — High Touch Technologies is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor for the 2022 Envision Wichita Golf Fore Vision tournament, hosted at Terradyne Country Club.

For 27 years, Envision has hosted the Golf Fore Vision Golf Tournament to raise money to support its mission. Proceeds from the tournament are used to benefit Envision’s programs that provide unique opportunities and services for people who are blind or visually impaired.

Opening Remarks

“It is our honor, and it’s my honor to represent the 160 employee-owners at High Touch as Presenting Sponsors this morning,” states High Touch President and CEO Derrick Nielsen.

“We believe in the Envision mission. I had the opportunity to actually work with Envision prior to my time at High Touch and get to know the mission. For those of you that understand that, and I see a lot of familiar faces here, and I know why you’re here and thank you for your support for Envision and their cause.

For those of you that maybe are the ringer on the team, and you don’t know Envision, but you know golf, and you were brought along for the day, I would encourage you to take some time to ask people about the mission, learn about Envision.

So many of us, in our lives, will be touched, by a family member or by ourselves, with blindness or visual impairment. It touches so many, and Envision has a very, very unique calling. They go all the way from basic research into blindness, to support for the blind and visually impaired, to rehabilitation, to work and employment. It is really a full lifecycle of supporting people so that it leverages their abilities and diminishes the idea of disability.

It’s an incredibly powerful mission. I would encourage you to ask me, ask any of us that’s been around Envision for a while what we love and appreciate about what they do here. There’s a lot to learn.”
