From a college student with a passion for web design to an award-winning leader in Wichita’s tech community, Lindsay’s story is rooted in curiosity, consistency, and an unwavering desire to make things work better.
Lindsay’s web journey began over 20 years ago as a student at Emporia State University. After college, she launched her career at Newman University, where she managed their website, laying a strong foundation for her professional path. Over the years, she sharpened her skills through roles at CCH/Wolters Kluwer and AGCO, eventually finding a long-term home at High Touch Technologies, where she has now been leading website and web application projects for over 12 years.
Today, as Manager of Web and Custom Development, Lindsay plays a vital role in overseeing custom website design, software development, and digital project execution. Her team helps clients bring their visions to life, whether it’s crafting user-friendly websites or developing custom applications that solve specific business challenges. Thanks to her leadership, countless High Touch clients have seen tangible results—faster websites, better functionality, higher SEO rankings, and modern, mobile-friendly user experiences.
“I like to help people and companies by fixing things I can—that’s the easiest way to describe what can be very technical,” she shares. “The core of what I love the most and could do all the time, every day, is designing websites.”
Throughout her career, Lindsay has leaned on a deep well of guidance from family and mentors. She credits her strong work ethic to her parents—her father, a farmer, and her mother, a retired executive at KanOkla Telephone. “They’re consistent hard workers and taught me to do what is right, not what is easy,” she says.
She also gives thanks to mentors like Kelly Snedden, who was her boss at Newman University, and Ken Arnold, who never hesitated to redline her early work to help her grow. At High Touch, Lindsay found inspiration in the late Tracy Lucas, whose professionalism and leadership left a lasting impression.
When asked about her approach to leadership, Lindsay’s answer is simple, yet powerful: “Tell the truth and do what is right—people will notice when it matters the most.”
