During the three rounds of competition (First Course, Main Course, Dessert), the audience members could sabotage a participant of their choosing by paying a fixed amount depending on the sabotage. The cost of a single Special Olympics Athlete to participate in one of this summer’s tournaments is $75. For $75 during the first course, the audience sabotaged multiple participants to wear oven mitts over their hands. Another example was the “Dog cone of shame” for $225 during the main course.

The brave emcees were Tim Smith, The Cookie Guy and Tracy Cassidy, Q92 The Beat Radio DJ with Brett & Tracy In the Mornings. Thank you so much for your tenacity and guidance!

The judges were John Michael of the Butler Community College Culinary Program, Anita Harris of Visit Wichita and Schane Gross of The AnchorDouglas Avenue Chop Shop – and Fork & Fennel. Thank you so much for lending your pallets!

Cannot leave out the great generosity of all our sponsors and Silent Auction donations – Thank You very much for your contribution(s)!
