Early Career – Restaurant Industry

Clay’s professional journey began in the restaurant industry, where he excelled in motivating and leading a diverse workforce. At Summit Capital Venture Group, Clay skillfully managed daily operations, including sales, business growth, customer service, marketing, hiring and training, performance management, and inventory. Additionally, he adeptly negotiated contracts and established strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Real Estate Ventures

In 2011, Clay embarked on a new chapter, venturing into the dynamic world of the real estate industry. Eager to embrace fresh challenges and seize exciting opportunities, he shifted his focus toward investment and business operations within this thriving sector.

Clay became adept at identifying valuable assets and maximizing their potential for profitable sales. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to found, build, and scale multiple businesses specializing in real estate acquisition, development, and management across various markets.

Technology and Executive Leadership

Drawing on his 20 years of business experience and entrepreneurial spirit, Clay assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer at Bespoke Technology Group in 2018. In this role, he developed and managed a progressive culture of operational excellence and client-centered service, leading the company through a difficult financial turnaround to stability and profitability.

In 2021, Clay embraced a new opportunity as the Director of Sales and Business Development at 7 Figure MSP. Taking the reins of a diverse team of skilled sales professionals spanning eight countries, he led the charge in driving advocacy, engagement, relevance, and revenue growth within the targeted global MSP sector.

Prior to joining the High Touch team in 2023, Clay served as the COO at TechGen Consulting, Inc. Tasked with establishing a positive culture, streamlining processes, and preparing the company for a potential merger/acquisition, Clay’s operational expertise and commitment to continuous improvement led the company to surpass its goals within an impressive 14-month timeframe, outperforming the initial five-year projection.

Work, Life, and Community Involvement

In his personal life, Clay values spending time with his family. His interests span a wide range, including outdoor activities, traveling, reading, and lifelong learning.

In supporting his wife’s career in orthotics and prosthetics, Clay and his family are actively involved in adventure rehabilitation programs. In the past, he has also volunteered with the Colorado Lacrosse Foundation and Colorado Youth at Risk Programs.
