About the Game Changers Gala
Every year, W’s Game Changers Gala shines a spotlight on standout individuals, businesses, and organizations that elevate Wichita through their innovation, leadership, and commitment to community. The evening celebrates the accomplishments of young professionals who are creating momentum in their industries and shaping the future of our region.
The award program includes several categories designed to highlight different aspects of service and leadership. Peers nominate finalists for these awards and submit applications for consideration, ensuring the recognition truly highlights the best of Wichita.
- Momentum Award. Honors a distinguished member of the Wichita and W community whose service, time, and unwavering dedication have made a lasting impact. These individuals lead boldly, inspire collaboration, and help move Wichita toward a stronger future.
- Community Catalyst Award. Recognizes a young professional whose creativity and innovation have transformed their workplace or industry. These are the disruptors, the problem solvers, and the leaders who bring fresh ideas forward to strengthen the community.
- Exemplify Award. Celebrates businesses, nonprofits, and organizations that excel at attracting, retaining, and developing young talent in Wichita. These groups understand the importance of nurturing future leaders and creating environments where young professionals can thrive.
- Thomas Stanley Legacy Award. Named in honor of a former board member and champion for W, this award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated long-term commitment and deep support for the organization. They embody the passion and leadership that shaped W’s mission from the beginning.
