About the 2025 Envision A Night for Vision Gala
Envision’s annual gala serves as the nonprofit organization’s largest fundraising event of the year. The evening celebrates the achievements of individuals who are blind or visually impaired while raising vital support for programs that help them lead independent, fulfilling lives.
Funds raised from the gala support initiatives such as:
- Early intervention for babies and preschoolers through Envision’s Early Child Development Center.
- Assistive technology camps for teens, including the Level Up Program.
- Heather’s Camp, a summer camp offering recreation and connection.
- Art classes and supplies through the Envision Arts Program.
- Employment opportunities, support groups, and family programs.
- Research and public education advancing low-vision practices and awareness.
Each initiative reflects Envision’s dedication to removing barriers and creating opportunities—goals that deeply resonate with our team at High Touch Technologies.
Celebrating Our Technology Partnership With Envision

This year, High Touch’s Director of Professional Services, Andrew Kon, had the honor of delivering the evening’s opening remarks. His words perfectly captured the spirit of both organizations — community-driven, empathetic, and forward-looking.
“Thank you everyone for having us tonight. On behalf of everyone at High Touch Technologies, we’re proud to be this year’s Presenting Sponsor,” Andrew began. “I want to start by thanking our amazing team for being here on this beautiful evening, and of course, all of you for being here—and to the amazing Envision team. Look at this place, it’s beautiful, it’s amazing. Just love being able to be a part of the gala, being able to enjoy it, and being surrounded by everyone we love and enjoy.”
He continued by reflecting on Envision’s mission and how it connects to everyday life and family values.
“When I reflect on that mission, I think about how it connects to my own life—how each of us can work to improve the quality of life for the people around us. For me, I think about my boys as they grow and learn about the kind of impact they’ll leave in the future. They’re in Scouts, and one of the lines from their Scout Oath is ‘to help other people at all times.’ Their slogan is ‘Do a good turn daily.’ When I think of that, how do we continuously try to help each other grow as human beings? Not long ago, Envision’s Andy and Courtney visited our troop as the scouts worked on their Disability Awareness Merit Badge. Andy guided our troops and taught them how to properly guide and support people who are blind or visually impaired.”
Andrew closed his speech with a reminder that awareness and empathy can drive meaningful action.
“That experience reminded me how awareness can reduce the FUD—fear, uncertainty, and doubt. The more we understand, the better we can help each other out. Even as technology continues to evolve, Envision reminds us to hold onto the fundamentals of humanity—compassion, empathy, and community. Through programs like Heather’s Camp and Level Up, Envision continues to empower and uplift those who are blind or visually impaired, helping them live life to the fullest. So, as we enjoy tonight’s celebration, I want to leave you with a small challenge: Don’t just think about how you can help others—act on it. Thank you.”
