We’re proud to be both a community partner and a technology provider for Envision, and this summer, High Touch’s employee-owners had the opportunity to participate in one of their most impactful initiatives: Level Up.

Level Up is more than just a program—it’s a launchpad for students who are blind or visually impaired to gain the confidence, skills, and experience they need to transition successfully into college or the workforce.

As Envision’s trusted technology partner, High Touch provides the technology foundation that helps power these life-changing programs. Our services include cybersecurity, infrastructure management, and help desk support for Envision’s locations in Wichita and Dallas.

What Is Envision’s Level Up Program?

Created in 2006, Envision’s Level Up Program is a national, week-long initiative designed for students ages 14–22 who are blind or visually impaired. It bridges the learning gap between visually impaired students and their sighted peers by equipping participants with critical academic, leadership, and career-building skills.

Level Up brings together families, educators, assistive technology experts, and industry professionals in a collaborative learning environment. Through hands-on activities, students gain experience with:

  • Leadership development
  • Assistive technology and digital tools
  • College preparation
  • Career exploration and networking

The program provides the resources and confidence students need to succeed in school, at work, and beyond.

Connecting Students With Real-World Experiences

One of the most exciting components of the Level Up Program is the College and Career Expo. This culminating event provides students with an opportunity to apply their newly acquired skills by interacting directly with representatives from colleges, universities, and industry professionals.

High Touch was proud to attend again this year. Team members Andrew Kon (Regional Director of Technology Solutions), Meagan Perrymore (HR Generalist II), Kevin Colborn (SVP of Network Operations/CIO), and Jason Slade (NOC Manager) spent time engaging with students, answering questions, and sharing insights about careers in IT.
