An Evening of Possibility and Purpose
Wichita, Kan. — (October 24, 2026) — Each year, Envision’s A Night for Vision Gala brings the Wichita community together to celebrate the people, programs, and opportunities at the heart of its mission.
Our High Touch team was honored to return to the Wichita Art Museum as the annual event’s Presenting Sponsor. We’ve valued this partnership for years, and the evening gave our team another opportunity to see the impact of Envision’s work firsthand.
The evening featured interactive sensory stations, an open bar, and dinner curated by Scotch & Sirloin, bringing together community members and local businesses in support of Envision’s mission to improve the quality of life for people who are blind or visually impaired.
More Than 15 Years Working Alongside Envision
High Touch has worked alongside Envision as the organization’s technology partner for more than 15 years. Throughout that time, we’ve had the opportunity to learn more about the people, goals, and mission behind the organization.
Our partnership extends beyond the annual gala. Year-round, our team works alongside Envision through managed IT services, software solutions, cybersecurity, and IT project services.
About the Evening With Envision Gala
A Night for Vision is Envision’s largest annual fundraising event, helping fund programs and services that create opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired.
From early childhood development and rehabilitation services to employment opportunities, accessible arts programs, and educational initiatives, Envision provides resources that help individuals and families build skills, connect with others, and pursue greater independence.
Programs such as Heather’s Camp, Level Up, and the Envision Arts Program are just a few examples of the opportunities made possible through community support.

Opening Remarks: Clay Carson – Two Generations, One Message of Hope
Speaking on behalf of High Touch Technologies, Clay Carson, Senior Vice President of IT Solutions, reflected on our longstanding relationship with Envision and shared a personal story about his family’s experience with vision loss.
In the late 1990s, Clay’s grandmother was diagnosed with macular degeneration and lost her sight within six months. More than two decades later, his mother received the same diagnosis, but advances in medical research and treatment have helped preserve her vision.
Reflecting on the difference between their experiences, Clay shared:
“Same disease, same family, one generation apart, and two very different outcomes. And the difference was progress. It was research. It was people who refused to accept that blindness was simply the end of the story and kept asking: what’s possible?”
For Clay, Envision’s mission carries a deeply personal meaning. His family’s experiences are a reminder of why continued research, accessible resources, and community support matter for future generations.
Continuing Our Commitment to Community
We’re grateful to Envision for another memorable evening and for the work its employees, volunteers, and supporters do throughout the year.
As a Wichita-based, employee-owned company, we’re proud to continue supporting organizations that create opportunities throughout our community.
