With the guiding title of “Password Protection and Other Steps to Stay Secure,” the event addressed the evolution of cyberattacks, specifically targeting nonprofit organizations—in an era where sensitive data, from donor information to intellectual property, is constantly under threat, the importance of a robust cybersecurity strategy cannot be overlooked.
Jason’s presentation dissected the latest tactics employed by cybercriminals to infiltrate nonprofit entities. Attendees were enlightened on how to protect sensitive data by implementing multilayered cybersecurity measures, including rigorous password policies, multifactor authentication (MFA), and comprehensive security awareness training.
