Navigating IT Projects With Purpose

When you meet Amanda Griffith, you’ll immediately notice a sense of calm—she’s someone who can see the big picture of an IT project and knows precisely how to get you there. Focused, steady, and always prepared with a plan, she has a gift for guiding others through the overwhelming challenges of IT projects, from enterprise IT infrastructure upgrades to onboarding new managed IT services clients.

In her own words, being a Senior Project Manager at High Touch Technologies is “like being the navigator on a big adventure.”

“I get to chart the course and keep everyone aligned to make sure the journey is both successful and efficient,” Amanda explains. “Don’t get me wrong, I love a list and checking boxes on a project plan, but the best part is watching the pieces come together—seeing processes streamline, risks shrink, and innovation take off for our clients’ success.”

That well-balanced blend of precision and passion makes Amanda more than just a project manager. She’s the steady guide helping High Touch clients navigate some of their most crucial technology transformations.

Guiding Clients Through IT Solutions

As part of High Touch’s IT Solutions team, Amanda’s role is crucial in helping organizations roll out networking initiatives, implement new technology systems, enhance their security posture, and more. Each project, regardless of its size, comes with its own unique complexities. Amanda’s gift is breaking those complexities down into clear, achievable steps that leave clients feeling confident instead of overwhelmed.

“Taking something complex and breaking it down into tasks we can execute is my favorite part,” she says. “When a client sees what once felt impossible become something manageable—and even exciting—that’s when you know the project is a success.”

Her approach aligns closely with our purpose at High Touch: making technology accessible, manageable, and strategic for businesses. Whether it’s delivering Managed IT Services, tackling IT Projects, or designing full-scale IT Solutions, Amanda ensures clients have the tools and the confidence they need to succeed.

Creating Measurable Impact

Amanda’s work is more than project plans and deadlines; it’s about transformation. Her favorite client success stories are those in which she sees real change in how a client operates.

“What makes me successful at work is seeing our clients’ operations become faster, more secure, and more efficient thanks to the projects we get to guide them through,” Amanda shares.

And while her project management style is grounded in structure, she doesn’t shy away from a little humor. Her personal “warning label” reads:

Risk of Transformation: Exposure may lead to improved processes, elevated culture, and a renewed sense of possibility. Proceed with intention.

It’s a playful but accurate reflection of the way Amanda approaches her work with intention, optimism, and an eye for the lasting impact technology can have on people and processes.

Life Beyond High Touch

Amanda’s commitment to transformation doesn’t stop at the office. She serves as a board member for the FUSE Foundation, a Kansas-based nonprofit that supports adults with neurological disorders. Her involvement reflects the same values she brings to her professional work—improving lives by creating structure, support, and possibility.

At home, Amanda and her husband are lifelong dachshund devotees. Their pack includes four loyal long-bodied companions ranging from a spunky six-year-old to a wise twenty-one-year-old, plus a foster pup finding her place.

“They’ve taught me more about loyalty and joy than I ever expected,” she says with a smile. “They love to burrow under blankets like it’s their full-time job (and yes, my camera roll is about 90% dachshund content). I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

7 Things You Might Not Know About Amanda Griffith

As part of our Employee Spotlight interview, we ask a series of lighthearted questions to highlight the unique, diverse personalities that make our High Touch team great. Amanda spends her days guiding clients through complex IT projects, but outside of work, she enjoys grounding herself in creativity, reflection, and the small rituals that bring her joy.

1.    If you could jump into a pool of anything of your choosing, what would you fill it with?

Plain and simple, memories that reflect my legacy in the sunlight.

2.    What’s one quirky thing people don’t know about you?

Call it a comfort ritual or a culinary signature, but there’s one thing you can count on in my kitchen—a homemade pot of chili ready for action. It’s hearty and reliable with the right amount of spice (kind of like my philosophy for life).

3.    Who or where would you haunt if you were a ghost?

My favorite antique mall. Where craftsmanship meets character. Where forgotten things have survived a thousand conversations and have a story worth telling.

4.    What’s your favorite mobile app or website?

Whether I’m winding down after a long day of planning or simply craving a moment of stillness in the early morning hours, the Skyview app is my go-to.  It reminds me that in the midst of complexity, there’s a vast universe out there that is shrouded in endless mystery, providing some daily perspective.

5.    Which famous person would you have dinner with and why?

Indra Nooyi, the former CEO of PepsiCo. She’s known for a strategy called Performance with a Purpose, reflecting a leadership style similar to mine—one that uplifts and empowers others. I don’t consider sustainable growth to be entirely about profits; it’s about how we engage with our communities, treat people, and contribute positively to the world around us. I can only imagine that there would be some napkins with frameworks written out if we were to dine together.

6.    What’s your spirit animal and why?

An owl. They have quiet strength (wisdom without ego in their habitat) and are highly observant and purposeful. They don’t have to announce themselves, and they don’t need theatrics to impact their intent.  My takeaway from an owl is that their impact is felt, not forced—an approach that I channel in my personal and professional pursuits.

7.    Do you have any superstitions?

I wouldn’t call myself superstitious, but I do believe in the power of thoughtful design. When it comes to curating my home, I follow the principles of Feng Shui not out of fear, but out of respect for energy, flow, and harmony. I choose everything with intention. It’s less about superstition and more about stewardship of the quiet ways in which I can move through life with balance.
