By supporting STEM education initiatives, especially those involving technology partner organizations like the Girl Scouts in our local markets, we aim to help enrich our communities at their very core.
Recently, we had the opportunity to serve as a Table Sponsor for the Girl Scouts of Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri—join us as we shine a light on the event and the difference organizations like the Girl Scouts make in our community.
About the Girl Scouts Tough Cookies Luncheon
The Tough Cookies Luncheon, hosted by the Girl Scouts of NE Kansas and NW Missouri, serves as a celebration of resilience and determination—it brings together local leaders, supporters, and remarkable Girl Scouts who embody the organization’s qualities and values.
The luncheon also serves as a significant annual fundraiser for the organization. As stated by the Girl Scouts, “Contributions to the Tough Cookies Luncheon are the ingredients that fund the kinds of programming, mentorships, and experiences that help girls grow their confidence, build leadership skills, make informed career decisions, and gain priceless insights into the workforce.”
Sales Executive Krystal Church represented High Touch at the event, accompanied by Kansas City-area clients Melissa Burch-Hill, Senior Director of Information Systems and Business Process at the Girl Scouts of NE Kansas and NW Missouri, and Jeffrey Walker, Chief Financial Officer of the Lyric Opera of Kansas City.

I was both encouraged and challenged hearing from the panelists about the confidence, courage, and grit it takes to be a woman in business,” Krystal reflects. “Listening to all the inspiring stories reinforced the transformative impact of organizations like the Girl Scouts.
