Helping Keep Your Business Safe.

As our Cybersecurity Practice Manager, Jason Fenoglio is our resident expert in, you guessed it, pretty much everything cybersecurity.

“My job is to provide security best practices internally for our employee-owners and externally for our clients,” states Jason. “My goal is to bring full visibility to the networks we protect so we can all sleep at night. If I get woken up occasionally to assist with security issues, that’s fine, as long as it’s not a Nokia ringtone that wakes me up,” he laughs.

Building a Cybersecurity Career

After being born and raised in the Dallas metroplex, Jason’s first job wasn’t exactly in technology—he worked in the restaurant and bell stand at the Wichita Marriott, despite his inability to parallel park. “It was super helpful because I drove guests around the city, and that’s how I learned where everything is in Wichita,” he states. “I also met many celebrities during my tenure there.”

Speaking of celebrities, if he could have dinner with anyone, he’d choose John Krasinski or Randall Park, “both were Jim on ‘The Office,’” he jokes.

In the technology world, Jason has always enjoyed working on computers, and he worked primarily in media and design before developing a love for infrastructure architecture.

“When I first started at High Touch, there was a Citrix project that I was added to very quickly. It ended up being a great way to meet and work with leadership and other market members in order to turn things around for a functional solution. Even though the difficulty of this project was high, it was a great starting memory in meeting my colleagues. “

Bringing the Human Touch to Cybersecurity

Jason began his career with High Touch in 2020 and has made a tremendous contribution to our growing cybersecurity practice since.

“Everyone I’ve worked with at High Touch has been great, and our Leadership team fosters new ideas, which is very motivational for me. What makes our team different is that we create user-centric solutions. It is more about what the customer needs and not about what we can sell them this month. We help align our partnership strategies with our clients to build long-standing relationships.”

What About When He’s Not Working?

Outside the office, you can catch Jason embarrassing his family with dad jokes, playing Pokemon Go (even though his son outgrew it), or volunteering with his wife’s nonprofit organization, StopSuicideICT.
